I had started writing parody songs in 9th grade to make fun of my classmates. However, when I fell in love for the first time, I started writing poetry to impress my girlfriend. I had learnt her language Tamil by expressing myself in Tamil poetry. She left me, but the poetry stayed.
I gradually started writing in Telugu, English, Hindi and Malayalam. My technique is to think about what I want to say, then find the right words in the language I want to express in. I have written about 150 poems in 6 different languages so far., with a wide range of themes, from romance to praise to motivation to divine poetry to jokes. Check a few of them out at The Feel of Love.
When a Rose is Born,
So does a Thorn!
No Matter how sharp the Thorn is,
It Doesn’t matter!
Cause the Thorn cannot Shatter,
the Rose’s Fragrance,
Nor its colors of Brilliance!
Such is the Relation between a Rose and a Thorn,
At the Same time they were Born!
But one Grows,
While the other Bows!!!

When I had your first glance,
The air was filled with fragrance,
I entered a state of trance,
and started a dance.
This was my first romance!!
