The basic idea of AIRiBnB is that when an injury occurs there is an increase in heat in the injured part. This is due to inflammation caused by the increased activity by the different cells of the body around the site of injury. This increase in heat can be observed in an infrared video camera and quantified by finding the difference between the frames of the video thus captured.
For this demo, my team got the 3rd prize at the BioHack LA hackathon held in October 2016.
I conceptualised the idea and led my team in conducting the experiments. I also built the code that computed the difference between the frames.
